Linear algebra, vector analysis, differential equations, partial differential equations, statics, dynamics, deformable bodies, numerical weather prediction. Served as Weapons Officer in two US submarines, Technical Services Officer at Navy weather center in Pearl Harbor, HI. Served as Staff Oceanographer at NAVCENT/FIFTHFLT in Bahrain. Served as Staff Oceanographer at Commander Submarine Force, Pacific Fleet.
